Born August 6,1983 in British Columbia, Canada, music has always played a large role in Mandi's life. Landing on Maui at the age of two, was around the same time her mother Barbara taught her to sing - and that was it. Like most singers, Mandi sang along to everything and anything, making her voice stronger with every note. As early as age 5, Mandi knew singing was what she wanted to do.

Almost 2 years ago, she got the proverbial "Big Break" when Michael Bizar, a talent scout for Michael Vail Blum, whom ended up playing guitar on this CD and is currently touring with Jim Croce's son A.J. in Europe, visited the DaretoSing website where Mandi had submitted a sample of her vocals. Bizar liked what he heard and contacted Vail Blum whom has discovered and/or worked with Madonna, Anastacia, Jessica Simpson, Kelly Clarkson and the group 3T. Vail Blum concurred that Mandi has what it takes as and waste no time inviting her to L.A. record a CD with hem in LA...If nothing else, this story validates the current potential of international talent discovery online, as well as a lesson in desire for all aspiring musicians...Dare to perform!

Vail Blum also laid tracks..board, assisted in programming and solo engineered and produced Mandi Seekings. Oh yeah, he also recruited famed keyboardist Herman Jackson, who has played with Jessica Simpson, Whitney Houston, Outkast, Stevie Wonder, Babyface, Aretha Franklin and more. Herman became musical director of the band, layed down tracks ...boards and percussion and assisted Vail Blum in programming. Guitar/bass whiz Dean Pleasants was also added to the mix. Dean currently plays guitar for Jessica Simpson in her live shows, and is in two other bands, Suicidal Tendencies and Infectious Grooves. Neno Sanchez was another key contributor on percussion.

Recorded, mixed and mastered at Vail Blum's Titan Music Inc. in Sherman Oaks California, this CD is receiving play on KUMU 94.7 on Oahu, Island Radio 98.9 on Kauai, and 99.9 KISS FM, WILD 105.5, Mana'o Radio 91.5, and KAOI 96.7-95.1 on Maui. Receiving the most play are the cuts I Love You, When I Dream of You and Nothing Compares to You.

A month after release Mandi Seekings has already caught the ear of another heavy hitter, Kevin Declue, out of LA, who works with Disney and some big names like Lenny Kravitz, Hillary Duff, and Pink. He recently approached Mandi, and with his production company D.S.D Productions, they wrote 5 songs together in a week, which are currently being shopped to various record labels and for movie/t.v. placements.
