Humble Beginnings
Started in November of 2005, Triple I set off on a mission to find the best vocal talent on the internet. Through this vision, founder Jeremy Sidabras developed International Internet Idol, an online vocal competition based off industry standards rather than karaoke limitations. Through this competition, Triple I connected with many professionals and artists. Upcoming solo artist Brad Kish joined the team as an external affairs officer, while also offering services in judging. This goes along with label owner Joalby Phoenix, theatre director Deborah Berry, and actor Ricky Hoggard, all joining the judging panel. After the first successful season was won by Illinois resident Nathan Lee, Triple I decided to move forward as an organization by creating a full scale website. By the time the second season started in 2006, www.internationalinternetidol.com was launched with the help of Triple I’s new webmaster Andrew Kwan. As the second season rolled on, Triple I created its first affiliation, by teaming up with FMKaraokeRadio, providing more fans with updates on the Triple I competition project. In the fall of 2006, Gail Bugeja became Triple I’s second idol winner, closing off what was a successfully ran vocal competition. A New Beginning
While many attempts were made to move the organization forward, it wasn’t until 2008 that a new vision was created. |
